DIVE IN FOR A NIGHT SWIM & MOVIE AT DECK. : Deck. Launches Summer Series Monthly Movie Nights


(Honolulu, HI)— Summer in Waikiki means balmy tropical weather with the occasional salty evening breeze; the perfect season to float in the pool with friends and catch an outdoor movie. Enter the monthly Dive-In Movie series at Deck.

On Saturday, June 22, Queen Kapiolani Hotel will collaborate with Deck., GREENROOM Gallery Diamond Head, and Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand for a movie night at the pool. This month will feature the summer surf classic, The Endless Summer (1966); screening will begin at 8:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to go for a night swim in the pool, enjoy drink specials, and catch the movie projected on the mauka (ocean) side adjacent building; guests can tune in via silent disco headsets provided.

For those looking to socialize, there will be live music by Jodi + Miko from 6:00 PM, and for those looking to keep the party going, an after-party at Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand from 10:00 PM.

GREENROOM Gallery Diamond Head will also be launching ART WAVE featuring artists Nick Kuchar and Noa Emberson. The art show will take place on the third floor by the pool from 6:00 PM.
